Inside Natural Gas Meter Safety Inspections

Inside Natural Gas Meter Safety Inspections

Keeping you and your community safe.

Part of providing safe, reliable natural gas is taking care of the equipment that connects us to your home or business. That’s why we do regular inspections of indoor natural gas equipment when meters are located inside a property.

To do the safety inspection, we need physical access to our natural gas meters and piping for maintenance purposes. That’s where you come in – scheduling an appointment ensures that our experienced technicians have the access they need to inspect each natural gas service line and meter inside your property to keep you, and your community, safe.

Here’s what else you need to know:
It’s Fast: Inspections typically take less than 15 minutes.
It’s Free: These inspections come at no cost to you.
It’s Required: The Connecticut Public Utilities Regulatory Authority (PURA) requires us to complete these inspections.
